*Ahem*

I just got back from a night at the movies with my 9 year-old, Rea.
We watched this fabulous movie, and then we stopped by the 7-Eleven for hot chocolate :)

Rea really enjoyed this. I was afraid she may have been scared, 'cause some of the scenes were pretty scary, but she handled it quite well. I think it helped that she had read the books, and she agreed that it's def. a good idea to read the book before watching a movie.

I missed the Oscars though, but that was okay. I'll catch up on the web later this evening. I hope that Juno gets something.
I loved that movie, and looks like that's the only Oscar contender I've seen so far.

Thank goodness for good girlfriends, or I wouldn't have watched that either!

Off to bed now..It's been a tiring weekend.

Okay,that was yesterday's date, but I was caught up with a house-full of sick kiddies and was unable to update.

But, it was a big day for us.

Yesterday, the building of our new home officially started.
The builders started digging.

Osh took that pic on Sunday after the snow had been removed off the lot.
I was supposed to have gone to take a pic of the builders at work yesterday.
Maybe today.
So much Fun!

I've been really enjoying my scrappy stuff lately. Not that I havn't in the past, it's just felt more meaningful lately.I've really been telling the story on each page. I journal in a way that my children will know exactly what was happening at the time the pic was taken. So while it may look like a bunch of pages with these cute little faces just peering out at you, if you read the journaling you'll see that each page has a tale to tell...

I took this pic on the day Rea picked up her first pair of eye-glasses. The journaling is about our feelings and hers over this new time in her life...
I try to always include the date, if not a specific date, then the month and year...

I received a sweet surprise in the mail today :)

Wilna sent me a sweet little kit, she made up, using a Starbucks cup!
It was such a sweet gesture,and I'm so touched...dankie liefie!





If you havn't heard, she's also doing an online Valentine class. I registered and it has been fabulous. Before the class even "officially" started, I felt I'd gotten my money's worth...
It's still not too late to get in and at least download the four projects which you can do at your own pace...

As the music thrummed through my head,I actually had visions of myself as a Pussycat Doll..Imagine that!

Then my session ended and I hopped into the shower...
but not before I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror...

This will be in addition to my regular DT stuff..

Happiness is...

finding a favourite cheese in the local grocery store...



Lemnos cheeses are just too scrummy yummy...
and my butt and thighs will vouch for that!

They come is flavours like "Melon and Mango"; "Fruit and Nut"; "Garlic and Chives" and so on...
How excited was I to find them right here at a local store...

Best extend the warranty on the treadmill!
