Oshean was off this weekend.
Off and at home.
The plan was for me to get into Edmonton, check into a swank joint, and just marinade there for the weekend...A-L-O-N-E.
No "Mommy, I need..."
"Mommy, he did..."
"Mommy, it was an accident..."
Nothing.
Nadda.

But the stars weren't aligned, and I ended up with an awful cold, so I decided not to risk the long drive, when on a good day I have been known to doze off and veer off the road (yeah..happened way too many times).
And I stayed home.
Bah-humbug!
Not quite.
Hubs to the rescue.
Took the kids, meals, everything off my hands.
I read, watched movies (at night when the kids slept).
And during the day I scrapbooked.
Yup...havn't done that in years...5 years to be precise (scrapbooked in the day is what I mean).

Great pictures Laci. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record.... and I am sure your family will agree.... you've been slackin' and we need more family pictures! So, smarten up and make us all happy so we can stop naggin' ya....lol:)
I am so glad to hear that you are getting some VERY MUCH needed "ME" time! Enjoy it.... you deserve every single minute.
So the "DON" is playing' Mr. Mom this weekend - you got an apron and all for him? LOL!!!!
